British actor Patrick Murray (68), best known for his role as Mickey Pearce in the iconic BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, has passed away in his sleep on September 29 after a long fight with cancer.
Career Highlights:
Appeared in 20 episodes of Only Fools and Horses between 1983 and 2003.
Also acted in films such as Quadrophenia (1979) and Scum.
After retiring from acting, he worked as a cab driver in Kent to support his family.
Health Struggle:
He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021 and initially went into remission in 2022. Sadly, the cancer returned in April 2023 and eventually took his life.
